Unfortunately, we’ve decided to discontinue this group due to lack of resources, enthusiasm, and interest. If you’ve made your way on to the mailing lists, I want to personally thank you for your efforts and achievements within the Michigan Campus Alliance over the last two years. We’ve had some strong moments, some powerful growth as a group and as individuals, and each of you is someone special who is willing to put your time and energy into a cause that will not see immediate and substantial results. That is something to be admired, appreciated, and nurtured. You have each left a mark on my life in a positive way, and I will maintain the friendships and the contacts I have made through this experience.

We will be leaving the website up and available until the next Midwest Bisexual Lesbian Gay Transgender Ally College Conference where we will discuss the groups accomplishments and short comings, and share contact information so the work we have done does not go to waste should someone else want to pick up where we started. Maybe in a few years available technology will be better and meetings will be easier, and maybe the climate in the state will be more conducive to a lasting group.

Again, thank you all for your efforts and thoughts regardless of if you were one of the original members and attended the Alma meeting, or if you just recently joined our list. If I can be helpful in anyway to you, please do not hesitate to ask.
